Below is the complete list of all SoundFonts which were hosted
on this site, zipped and ready for direct download.
All the other files, that is personal mp3's, photos, the forum, the links,
the guestbook, the articles, the news and all the rest, have been already deleted.
Two more files are available for download: the first one contains the executables
of sfArk and sfPack, the programs used to compress SoundFonts; the second one is
a zip archive containing all the sources of the old site, and precisely the perl scripts,
all the html pages, the graphics, the databases, and all the rest. Everything might be
there. One only thing is missing: the table containing the users data... which,
of course, has been deleted.
The sources are not supposed to be ready to use, but still they can be a good
start point for anyone who is interested in recreating this site as it was before.
So, all you need is to give'em a look.
Guido.

Guitar - Nylon, Steel, Electric, Distorted, Harmonics...6) energized!_8.6MB.sfpack - Download Size: 1,79 MbComment: The third VL-1 guitar with some PreAmp valve FX, quite a solid patch. You might consider to put on some verb and modulation, you may decide yourself. I like it clean so i can add fx in the postproduction.| Submitted by: Robert A on 11/13/2001
16) Stratocaster_VS.sfpack - Download Size: 725 KbComment: As promised: the clean version of my strat. Used in many songs because it is a patch with character, very realistic if you know how to handle the bender. 3 velolayers and many, many (shorty looped) samples.| Submitted by: Robert A on 10/7/2001
25) 1965_Harmony_Rocket.sfpack - Download Size: 1,16 MbComment: Jazz Guitar My first attempt at creating a Soundfont. Samples were recorded from my 1965 Harmony Rocket Hollowbody guitar straight into the mixing board. No loops (sorry, too advanced for me, maybe next time - or maybe you could loop them). The guitar is strung with 11 gauge flatwound strings and the neck pickup was used. Suitable for jazz. The lower register turned out pretty nice, but I'm not completely satisfied with the upper register (MIDI note 68 onward). Maybe somebody who has experience making Soundfonts and knows what they are doing could tweak it. Hope it's useful. Wish it was smaller, but didn't want to stretch the samples any further.| Submitted by: Jim Beebe on 9/6/2001

COPYRIGHT NOTICE
|
For a long time I forgot to include this copyright notice on this site, so here it is.
Up to a couple of years ago this site was called "Up Metal! Studio" and was a music community
with over seventhousands registered users who were allowed to upload soundfonts on their own.
Now the community is gone and the soundfonts are still here for your pleasure :-)
All the soundfonts are FREE for download, there are no restrictions on their usage in commercial
projects as well as redistrubution or re-package in any form.
If it happens that you find some soundfont protected by any copyright please contact me as soon as possible
so I can delete it from the list. This may happen because, as above said, I am not the author of all soundfonts
except those in the list "Other SoundFonts".
